こうした悩みをもつ親御さんは少なくないと思います。お子さんに「勉強しなさい!」と言えば言うほど反抗的になり、勉強嫌いになっていく……。悪循環ですよね。
どうしたら、子どもは自分から進んで勉強するようになるのでしょうか?
そこで、本書では現役東大生75人にアンケートを取り、その結果を元に私たち東大カルペ・ディエムなりの考察を加えて、「どうしたら子どもがやる気になるのか?」「どうしたら自分から勉強するようになるのか?」、その秘訣を探りました。
具体的には、東大生が小学生だったとき、家庭でなされていた
・勉強環境の作り方 ・やる気の引き出し方 ・読書の習慣 ・知的好奇心の育て方
・ゲームなどの娯楽との付き合い方 ・中学受験、大学受験の臨み方
など、子どもが進んで勉強するうえで欠かせない「環境作り」や「習慣化のコツ」のほか、子どもの自発性を引き出すうえで大事な「関わり方のコツ」をわかりやすく紹介しています。
