Born in Tokyo in 1963. In addition to his main job as a copywriter, he runs a web magazine "Hinabaribi Onsen Kenkyujo" (Hinabaribi Onsen Research Institute) and travels around Japan to visit and report on hinabaribi hot springs, and writes about them. He is never short of unique onsen stories, such as unusual, strange, and lost hot springs, as he is tired of visiting ordinary onsen and is always visiting maniacal onsen. He has appeared on NHK's "Gogo Nama," TV Tokyo's "Yoji Goji Days," and numerous other TV, radio, and magazine programs.
