The napping potato-dumo is taking a nap comfortably in the soil.
One day, he is pulled by a tremendous force to the ground, where he finds himself in a nursery school's potato-pulling contest.

The teddies in this story are all unique and charming.
The theme of this work is "It's okay for everyone to be different.
The story is about the taro who jumped out of the earth into the outside world without their intention.
While running away from being eaten, they fully express their individuality.
This work conveys a deep theme to children while they enjoy the pictures and the story.

About the Author
Nobuko Ohta
Born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1978. Lives and works in Fujimi City, Saitama Prefecture.
Graduated from Yamaguchi Prefectural University, Department of Environmental Design. Qualified as a curator.
After graduating from university, worked for a general company. After working in the advertising department, became a mother of two children.
After obtaining qualifications to support people with disabilities, nursing care, and childcare, she decided to create this work in the hope of communicating what she had learned in welfare in some way.
This work won the Encouragement Award at the 9th Picture Book Publishing Award.
