Description
Hakusan Pottery Hemp Thread / Mist White HAKUSAN ASA NO ITO / MISTWHITE The ASA NO ITO series is dyed with gosu (gosu/blue) and rust (rust/brown) paints, and the MISTWHITE series with a moist, pure white matte glaze. They are sold as separate series at Hakusan Pottery, but since the shapes are the same, we would like to introduce them together. The deep colors of indigo (blue) and sepia (brown) and the white of the fabric give this linen thread a chic and clean look. The plates and bowls are a very popular series, shaped like Scandinavian tableware but with the colors of traditional Japanese tableware. Mist White, on the other hand, is a simple all-white series. It has a slightly matte tone, which gives a slightly different impression from the white porcelain part of the linen threads. Plates in this series have a wider rim (the part of the plate that rises up). The wide rim is a common shape in Western tableware. The advantage is that it makes the dish look more attractive. The disadvantage is that it does not take up enough space for serving food in proportion to its size. If you want to make a beautiful presentation, serve a little more. If you have a large amount of food to serve, place it a little over the rim. This plate is very easy to use if you use it in different ways at different times. [Plate medium] Many people may feel that it is a little small as a main plate to put side dishes on, but it is rather a good main plate for those who have a small appetite. It is a size that can hold a hamburger steak and side dishes. It is a size that is useful in various situations, such as as a bread plate or a plate for serving several kinds of food. |

HAKUSAN ASA NO ITO / MISTWHITE
