Description
| The cloisonne colors look like sugar candy and the ears are doughnuts; a new series that looks like a snack at 15:00. After much trial and error, we arrived at cloisonne ware in order to create small motifs that are difficult to create with leather. Copper is shaved into the shape of a mouse, and a colored glassy glaze is placed on top. Small pieces of glass are cut out for the eyes and nose. The finished product is then fired at an exquisite temperature, and the contours are shaved off. These accessories are made using a delicate technique in which the craftsman's skill shines through, adjusting the temperature and baking time according to the situation. The slowly molten blending of colors is eye-catching. |
