TI-1 cutlery, stainless steel cutlery designed by Takenobu Igarashi, a fusion of traditional Japanese handcraftsmanship and modern design. The timelessly contemporary and simple design is not only easy to use [The timeless, contemporary simplicity of the design not only makes it easy to use, but also gives an element of "play" to the dining table, giving rise to an indescribable urge to "try to cook a dish that goes well with this cutlery". 五十嵐 威暢 Takenobu Igarashi
彫刻家、デザイナー。
アクソノメトリック(透視)図法によるニューヨーク近代美術館(MoMA)のカレンダー、立体アルファベット、サントリーホール、カルピスのVIデザイン、OUNやYMDのプロダクトなど、グラフィック・プロダクトデザイナーとして活動し、世界的な評価を受けている。
1994年、彫刻家に転身。木、石、金属、テラコッタ、ステンドグラスなど、様々な素材でパブリックアートとしての作品を数多く制作している。
現在、多摩美術大学名誉教授
