Description
isago pattern The Isago Pattern Institute creates innovative and delicate patterns using traditional stencil dyeing techniques. To bring out the charm of these patterns, Musubi collaborated with skilled Kyoto craftsmen to develop Japan's first double-sided dyed furoshiki. All of the patterns are imbued with a meaning of good fortune, and can be used for a wide range of purposes, including as gifts. It is also popular for use as a bag, and is highly appreciated by customers in Japan and abroad for its ability to be coordinated by taking advantage of the color changes between the front and back sides. Since ancient times, the flower has been used to wish for longevity during the Chou-you-no-Sekku festival.
