| Stylish canvas art in collaboration with photographer MIWAKATOH. Frameless and light in weight, it can be easily displayed with push pins. MIWAKATOH Profile Since childhood, Miwakatoh has spent his time making things. After graduating from university, he worked for several design firms. He has been working for CECILMcBEE, a fashion brand popular among young people. and CecilLinc, sister brands of the popular young fashion brand CECILMcBEE, and has since been involved in many spatial design projects for these brands and CECILMcBEE. Since then, he has been involved in many space designs for these brands and CECILMcBEE. While working as a designer, he has also been immersed in photography, which he started as a hobby. Through a friend who is a musician, he started photographing live performances. After retiring from the design office, he became a photographer and started shooting live concerts for major record companies and I have been mainly shooting live concerts for major record companies and fan club newsletters, as well as interview photography for jackets, interviews, etc. He is also active in portrait photography, such as jacket, interview, and publicity photography. He also energetically holds solo exhibitions in various locations and expanded overseas in 2010. In France, he exhibited a mandala sculpture using photographs of prayer palms. In October 2011, he exhibited his work at the Centre Pompidou*, a center for contemporary art in Paris. MIWAKATOHプロフィール
幼い頃から物づくりをしながら過ごす。
大学卒業後、設計事務所数社に従事。
若者に人気のファッションブランドCECILMcBEEの
姉妹ブランドFabulousとCecilLincの立ち上げから携わり、
以後これらのブランドやCECILMcBEEなどの空間デザインを多数手がける。
デザイナーとして活動する傍ら、趣味ではじめていた写真撮影にも没頭。
ミュージシャンの友人からの縁で、ライブ撮影をはじめる。
設計事務所を退職後はカメラマンに転身し、大手レコード会社のライブ撮影や
ファンクラブ会報誌の撮影を中心に、ジャケットやインタビューなどの取材写真、
宣材写真など人物撮影をメインに活動している。
また、各地で精力的に個展を開催し、2010年に海外進出。
フランスで祈りの手のひらの写真を使用した曼荼羅立体オブジェを展示する。
2011年10月にはパリの現代芸術の中心施設、
ポンピドゥー・センターで祈りの手のシリーズ写真を展示し、好評を得る。
