Description
| The motif is the British Army Gurkha Pants of the 50's. Originally, they were worn by mercenaries [Gurkha soldiers] of the British army, who were composed of Nepalese hill tribesmen with high physical ability. Since they were used by the military, these items have a martial image, but we have created a modern silhouette and atmosphere. The most distinctive feature is the waistband. The waistband is double-strapped and can be adjusted with the left and right straps, holding the waist firmly in place. The trend toward beltless pants, led by easy pants, is continuing and attracting more and more attention. The silhouette is exquisitely relaxed with a tapered effect due to the tuck around the waist and moderate depth of the crotch. The Gurkha pants, with their distinctive waistband, can also be worn tucked in, expanding the range of coordination. |

元々は身体能力の高いネパール山岳民族から構成された、イギリス軍の傭兵「グルカ兵」が着用していたようですね。
軍物として使用されていたことから、武骨なイメージのあるアイテムですが、現代風のシルエットと雰囲気に仕上げております。
一番の特徴はやはりウエストバンド。ダブルストラップ式になっており、左右のストラップでウエスト廻りを調整でき、しっかりと腰回りをホールドしてくれます。
イージーパンツ等を筆頭にベルトレスの流れが続いている中で、注目度も高まっていますね。
