茨城県生まれ。インターネットショップ「恐竜・化石 グッズの専門店ふぉっしる」店長。金沢大学大学院 自然科学研究科で修士号を取得(専門は地質学・古生物学)。「ふぉっしる」では古生物学の知識・経験を生かし、様々な化石や古生物関連グッズを提供している。著書に『ときめく化石図鑑』(山と渓谷社)、『楽しい 植物化石』(河出書房新社)。また、『地球のお話365日』(技術評論社)のイラストの半分も担当した。
監修者 土屋 健(つちや けん)
オフィス ジオパレオント代表。サイエンスライター。埼玉県出身。金沢大学大学院自然科学研究科で修士号を取得(専門は地質学・古生物学)。その後、科学雑誌『Newton』の編集記者、部長代理を経て独立し、現職。2019年、日本古生物学会貢献賞を受賞。近著に『古生物食堂』(技術評論社)など。
