| Wooden bullet board made of Shimanto cypress from Kochi Prefecture. Shimanto cypress has a reddish color compared to other cypresses because of its high oil content. Its high oil content means that it is resistant to water, and it also contains natural antibacterial properties. The length is about 50 cm, which is long enough to place a French bread. The surface of the surface is coated with a trowel to keep freshly baked bread moist and to prevent bread crumbs from flying off.
