Description
*Microwavable, dishwasher-safe Ceramic* porcelain tableware is produced in the Mino region of Gifu Prefecture [Minoyaki]. Awasaka Corporation handles all of its products and materials domestically produced with the desire to bring safety and security to the dining table. Please enjoy the 7 characteristics to enjoy our vessels. [Uneven color: Even if the same clay, technique, and glaze are used, there will be variations in color after firing. [*Stain can be prevented from getting into the cracks by applying a stopper and washing the vessel promptly after use. [Glaze dripping or pooling] Thickly glazed areas may flow during firing, resulting in a pattern that looks like dripping glaze. [Iron powder] The clay used to make ceramics contains iron powder, which appears as dark spots on the surface of the ware when fired. This is especially common on vessels made of red or black clay. [Copper sheet paper] Copper sheet paper is Japanese paper printed with Kureshi pigments. Since Washi is pasted onto the vessel and painted by hand, there may be shading in the pattern, wrinkles or blurring on the surface of the vessel, and pattern deviation may occur. [Earthenware (Pottery)]Pottery is water absorbent, so if dishes are left soaking in dirty water after use, water will be supplied, causing mold* stains* and odor. After use, please remove stains quickly, wash with kitchen detergent, rinse well, and dry before storing. Also, soak the pot in boiling water before use to thoroughly moisten the fabric to prevent stains and stains. [Kiln Variation]During firing, the temperature difference and position in the kiln causes changes in the way the glaze burns, the way the glaze flows, and the coloration of the glaze. There are many reasons why pottery is said to be alive, and each piece has a different expression even if they have the same design. We hope you will enjoy each and every difference. |
