He created numerous posters for major manufacturers such as Air*France and Michelin, as well as movie posters, and established himself as a leading French poster artist in the postwar period. He sadly passed away in 2002 at the age of 94. Savignac's unique style, with its simple, easy-to-understand expressions and endearing humor, continues to be loved not only in his native France but also throughout the world.
