Even Indians call them flutes instead of bansuri, so it is perfectly safe to assume that they are flutes. Bansuri are made of bamboo and come in various lengths. バンスリーは世界中どこに行っても見かけるフルート型楽器です。当のインド人もバンスリーと呼ばずにフルートと呼んでいたりするので、フルートだと考えて全く問題ありません。 バンスリーは竹で作られ、長さは色々。長い物も、短い物もバンスリーと呼ばれます。

お客様から、非常に詳しい説明を頂きました。両手の薬指は、第一関節の指の腹で押さえてもよいのですが、人差し指と中指は第二関節の腹か第一関節の折り目にまたがるようにして押さえます。
ただ第一関節の折り目は、わずかな隙間ができやすいので、気をつけてください。少しでも隙間があったら、その指より下の音は出ません。
そして親指の当て方です。ハリジーのCDのジャケット写真を見てください。親指が三日月のようにそっくり返っています。これをまねてみてください。
ベーム式のフルートをやっていた人にはすごく違和感がありますが、すぐに慣れてしまいます。
