Description
| The terra cotta material is breathable and comes with a saucer, so it can be enjoyed indoors as an object of art. The handmade and unique texture of each piece is also attractive! There is a hole in the bottom. This item is coated with glaze (feldspar and other earth and stones dissolved in water). When fired, the glaze melts at high temperatures and becomes vitreous on the surface of the ceramic ware. The cracks seen on the surface are called "kannyu" (penetration). こちらの商品は釉薬(長石などの土石類を水で溶いたもの)でコーティングを施しております。本焼きをすると釉薬が高温で溶けて、陶磁器の表面でガラス質になります。表面に見られるヒビは貫入(かんにゅう)と呼ばれる模様です。衝撃によるものではないので強度には問題ございません。皿やフチに素材の剥がれや素地の盛り上がりが見られることがありますが、これは釉薬に含まれる石粒が焼成時に弾け、素地が欠けたり、盛り上がって表面に露出する石爆(いしはぜ)と呼ばれる現象によるものです。自然の素材を使って製造するうえで避けられない現象ですのでご了承ください。商品によって個体差はありますが、こちらも強度には影響いたしません。
