Description
[fair trade][golden silk][handmade][ethical products] Shoulder bag made of raw silk Round design is cute! It is lightweight and has plenty of storage space. *Lightweight made of silk! (about 250g) *Made of silk and lightweight! *14cm gusset and 3 pockets! *A4 size can fit in it, so it's perfect for a commuter bag! Shoulder bag made of Cambodian golden silk. Each bag is carefully handmade by artisans in Cambodia. The cocoons of silkworms are soaked in 70°C hot water, untied, and the threads are carefully dyed with natural dyes, giving the fabric a natural warmth and coloring that is rustic and tasteful. Raw silk, which is still spun from cocoons, is characterized by its natural and unique texture and lightness. The rounded bottom and pleated opening create a feminine and gentle atmosphere. The rope-like handle made of the same silk fabric has two crossed strings with a cushion inside, so it fits gently when worn on the shoulder. The gusset is a generous 14cm, so it has excellent storage capacity! Three pockets on the inside are useful for organizing your belongings. There is a zippered pocket and two pockets for cell phones and other small items, and since it can fit A4 documents and a lunch box, it is recommended as a commuter bag. [Cambodian silk produced by hand, one by one] The production process of silk bags begins with the making of thread. In the rural villages of Takeo Province, where the silk industry has traditionally flourished in Cambodia, self-sufficient home handicrafts are actively practiced. Each family raises silkworms, boils the cocoons, spins the raw silk, dyes the yarn with natural dyes such as plants and trees, and weaves several meters of silk fabric on a loom at home over several dozen days. The silk fabric is then sewn by hand by craftsmen in NGO workshops, and each piece is carefully finished. [Fusion of traditional [craftsmanship] and modern design] The raw silk threads of the silk bags are carefully dyed with natural dyes to give them natural warmth and color. In the workshop, hand-woven silk fabrics are carefully sewn one by one by skilled craftsmen to create high-quality bags. The designs and colors reflect the rich culture and traditions typical of Cambodia, a warm Southeast Asian country. Not only the skilled handwork, but also the unique designs and colors give the bags their own character and texture. The bags are dynamically designed to meet today's needs while utilizing the traditional techniques of the Cambodian silk industry, creating a fascinating fusion of tradition and modernity in Cambodian culture. *Due to the rising cost of local labor, raw materials, and freight, prices will be revised from the next shipment.
