Description
*Well made & reasonably priced! This statue is well carved and well made down to the smallest detail. The size is just right, neither too large nor too small. The price is reasonable, less than 1/5 of the price of a metal one of the same size. The secret is that they are made of resin. The metal statue is molded and the resin is poured into the mold. The reasonable price and moderate size make it easy to place anywhere in the room. *Hand-carved pattern by craftsmen This statue is specially hand-carved by Nepalese craftsmen, one piece at a time. It is a very time-consuming work to draw patterns on a statue with many curves, but even the smallest lines are carefully drawn one by one. The carved patterns include Buddha's eye, Stupa, Matsya, the fish representing salvation, Surya, the sun god, and Onn, among others. Auspicious patterns, etc. are carved into all corners of the statue. *Basically, the pattern is the same as the one in the photo, but since they are hand-carved, the details of each pattern and arrangement may vary from piece to piece. *Ganesha, the god of learning*Ganesha, the god of money Ganesha is a unique god with the head of an elephant, a large, plump body, and a tiny mouse as a vehicle. In Sanskrit, Ganesha means "Lord of the Crowd (Gana)" and is also called "gaNapati". In India, Ganesha is believed by many people to be the god of learning and prosperity. |
