Description
[Gentle and delicate hand-woven taste] A standard stand collar shirt that is easy to match with any outfit. It is now available in a hand-woven fabric with a richly textured texture with shades of gray! [Hand-woven fabric from Khot Village in Northern Thailand] Jomthong hand-woven fabric is from the Jomthong region in northern Thailand, about two hours from Chiang Mai city. It is famous as a traditional cotton hand-woven fabric. Sisam's fabrics are made in Hort, a region right next to Jomthong. Each weaver's family carries out the weaving work. Dyeing and weaving are done on the ground floor of the home on stilts. This is a picture of a loom being used to make fabric. Weft yarns are threaded through the loom, and then struck with a large comb-like object. Now the weft is passed from left to right, and thumped again. The weft is moved with great force throughout the process, as the foot pedals are used to alternately raise and lower the warp threads. The weaving process is controlled by the weaver's hand, so if the hammering force is a little strong, the weft threads will be jammed, and if the force is weak, the weave will become thinner. If you look closely at the fabric, you will notice uneven dyeing and fraying, which are not seen in machine-weaving. This is the proof and taste of hand-weaving that brings depth to the fabric. [Attention to detail] Shell buttons give a soft sparkle to this simple shirt. We are particular about natural materials even in the smallest details. This time, the buttons have been made smaller, making it easier to wear neatly. The tucks in the cuffs add character. It gives a crispness to the simple silhouette. The back switching line and tucks give expression to the back view. The clean stand collar around the neck gives a dignified impression. [Hand-woven fabric with a deep flavor] Hand-woven fabric made of 100% cotton. The slightly taut beige fabric is easy to match with other colors. Please enjoy the change of the fabric as it becomes softer and softer as you wear it. The people involved in the PaaTooMuu series and its production are committed to manufacturing with handcrafts passed down from generation to generation in the local area, such as hand-weaving and dyeing. The vice president of sisam named the series "PaaTooMuu" in honor of its beauty. Paa" means "cloth," "Too" means "weaving," and "Muu" means "hand" in Thai. [Fair Trade][Ethical Collection] |
