Description
This ring is hand-knitted with the motif of traditional Turkish handicrafts [Oya]. The flowers are made three-dimensionally by knitting them together with embroidery needles [eine*oya], and the beautiful color gradation adds a gorgeous color to your hand. [Eenee*oya]. It is a traditional handicraft unique to the Mediterranean region of Turkey, which is described as lace knitting, but is woven by tying threads together with an embroidery needle. The motifs used to decorate the scarf vary from two-dimensional flowers and vegetables to three-dimensional models. In recent years, the art has been attracting attention not only as a scarf decoration but also as a cultural handicraft, and new works based on the motif of oyas have been created. (In addition to the embroidery needle eeneo ya, there are tu*o ya, which are knitted with a crochet hook, and bonjuk*o ya, which contain beads and are distinguished from each other.) |
