2025年（令和7年）は十干が「乙（きのと）」、十二支が「巳（み）」の年にあたるので、干支は「乙巳（きのと・み）」。
干支（えと）は、十干（じっかん）と十二支（じゅうにし）の組み合わせです。干支の組み合わせは60通り（「六十干支」）あり、60年で干支が一回りするため、60歳になることを還暦を迎えるといいます。
12種類の動物によって構成されている十二支。もともとは古代の中国が起源とされています。
