[Ms. Hino's comment]
Cotton in winter. For those who get a rash from wool fiber, it is quite difficult to choose winter clothes.
marrow is a strong ally in such situations.
[This fabric, born from the "Mosquito Net Fabric Reclamation Project," is made by unraveling leftover cloth and old clothes, turning them into yarn, and using this yarn for the weft (yokito) to make a double weave, so it is warm enough to pass the test of warmth.
The texture is moist and firm, with a good wrinkle texture.
We are also happy that we are doing something good for the earth by reusing materials and upcycling them without sparing any effort.

*What is the marrow series?
marrow uses leftover cloth from the production of mosquito nets and used daily clothes as raw materials.
Later, marrow will also become a raw material, thereby establishing a recycling-oriented economy.
We believe that it is essential to design products and services from the planning stage with recycling of raw materials in mind, so as not to generate waste, waste, and pollution.

*How upcycled products are made*

1. Collection
[We collect surplus cloth from the production of mosquito net products and worn-out "kaya" (daily wear),
We separate all 20 colors of mosquito net fabrics into their respective colors.

2. Anti-wool
The leftover mosquito net fabrics that were to be disposed of are turned into [cotton].
*Woolen is the process of reusing discarded yarn, fabric, used clothing, etc., by turning them back into cotton and reusing them as fiber. It is one of the fiber reuse methods that have been attracting renewed attention in recent years due to the trend toward sustainability.

3. warp yarn
Cotton is spun into yarn.

Weaving
The finished yarn is woven into a double weave to make a fabric.

5. Commercialization and sales
The finished fabric is sewn into products. By mixing 4 to 7 colors of mosquito net fabric in one fabric, you can see the expression of nep and small coloring on the fabric when you look closely.

What is the original material, mosquito net*?
*Characteristics of Mosquito Net Fabric*.
Mosquito nets were originally hung to keep mosquitoes away when sleeping.
The weave is coarse and airy. The weaving process allows air to pass through the fabric, making it extremely lightweight, quick-drying, and air permeable.
