One-piece dress from the sustainable collection [marrow], upcycled from Hata's mosquito net material. *Design *A simple A-line dress that can be worn by anyone. *The mimolé length hides the calves, which tend to look thicker, and shows the ankles, so you can expect a leg-lengthening* and beautiful leg effect. *With two side pockets. *Material 100% cotton, double-weave marrow textile [This warm and smooth fabric was developed in-house through the Mosquito Net Regeneration Project. The colorful cotton of the mosquito net is left as an expression on the surface of the fabric. *Suggested styling *Wear with a blouse or sweater as an inner layer. *Wear with a jacket in the same color for a set-up look. *Wear with tights and boots for a sleek look. For those who get a rash from wool fiber, it is quite difficult to choose winter clothes. marrow is a strong ally in such situations. [This fabric, born from the "Mosquito Net Fabric Reclamation Project," is made by unraveling leftover cloth and old clothes, turning them into yarn, and using this yarn for the weft (yokito) to make a double weave, so it is warm enough to pass the test of warmth. The texture is moist and firm, with a good wrinkle texture. We are also happy that we are doing something good for the earth by reusing materials and upcycling them without sparing any effort. *What is the marrow series? marrow uses leftover cloth from the production of mosquito nets and used daily clothes as raw materials. 冬に「綿」。ウール繊維でかぶれる人にとって、冬の服選びはなかなか難しいものです。
そんな時の強い味方がこのmarrow。
「蚊帳生地再生プロジェクト」から生まれたこの生地は、残布や古着を一度、ほぐし、糸にし、こちらを緯糸(よこいと)に使い、二重織にしたので、合格点の温かさ。
さらに質感もしっとり、しっかり、シワの風合いもよいです。
かつ、材料は再利用しながら、手間は惜しまずアップサイクルして、「地球にいいことをしている」ことも嬉しいポイントです。
●「marrow」シリーズとは●
marrowは「蚊帳製品」の生産時に出来る裁断後の余り布や、着古された「かやの日常着」を原料の一部に使用しています。
のちにmarrowも原料になることで、循環型経済を確立していきます。
廃棄物や無駄、汚染を発生させないように、原料のリサイクルを想定した上で製品デザインやサービスをプラン段階から設計することが本質にあると考えています。
●アップサイクル商品ができるまで●
1.回収
「蚊帳製品」の生産時の余り布/着古した「かやの日常着」を回収し、
蚊帳生地全20色をそれぞれ色ごとに分けます。
2.反毛
廃棄予定だった余り布の蚊帳生地を「綿」状にします。
※反毛とは廃棄糸、廃棄生地、古着などを綿状に戻して繊維として再利用することです。近年のサスティナブル志向によって改めて注目されている繊維再利用手段の1つです。
3. 反毛糸
綿を紡績し糸にしていきます。
4.織り
出来上がった反毛糸を2重織に織っていき、生地にします。
5.製品化/販売
できた生地を縫製し、製品化。 ひとつの生地に4〜7色の蚊帳生地が混在していることで、よく見るとネップの表情や生地に小さな彩りが見えます。

●蚊帳生地の特徴●
もともと寝る際の蚊よけとして吊られれていた蚊帳。
織目が粗く、風通しの良い生地です。空気を通すために糸と糸の間を広くとって織り上げる製法で、非常に軽く速乾性・通気性に富んでいます。
