Description
| Handspun, handwoven linen coasters. In addition to the standard 10 cm size, a mini size is now available for use with smaller dishes. The variation of colors selected from nature can be used for both Japanese and Western dishes. The ramie used in this product is handspun (teuumi, meaning hand-spun)* and hand-woven in the traditional way. This painstaking work allows each thread to retain its individuality and expressive texture. The most attractive feature of hemp fabrics is that they have a three-dimensional surface finish, which gives them a sense of depth and shadow. Please enjoy the items with a dignified atmosphere in the gentleness of natural materials. *Please be aware that the natural fiber may have some knots or loose threads on the surface, but please understand and enjoy them as part of the texture. If you are concerned about the fibers sticking out, you can cut them off with thread scissors or the like. This item is supervised by craft buyer Akiko Hino. [Akiko Hino comments] Crisp hemp, a material that has an elegance not found in other fibers. It is perfect for table cloths for entertaining guests. The hand-spun and hand-woven "old-fashioned raw hemp" used by Inoue Kikaku*HAN has the best texture of all. This is the first 6 cm small coaster of the season. It is the perfect size for a small cup of soup or a sip of beer. |

自然の中から選ばれた色のバリエーションは和洋を問わずお使いいただけます。
本製品に使われている苧麻（ちょま・ラミー）は、人手をかけて、昔ながらの手績み（てうみ・手紡ぎの意）・手織りをしています。
その丹念な作業により、糸の1本1本がその個性のままに、表情のある風合いを保つことができます。
麻生地は表面に立体感があるため、奥行きと陰影感を感じさせる仕上がりが一番の魅力と言えます。
天然素材のやさしさの中にも、凛とした雰囲気が漂うアイテムをお楽しみください。
