Description
\Ј Available from September 5, 2024! / *COROLIN STAMP [National Treasure, Caricatures of birds, animals and humans] Sumo*. Heian period, Lent by Kozanji temple When you roll the stamp, animals from the Birds and Beasts Caricature are stamped as if they jumped out from a scroll! The compact stamp surface is easy to use in small areas such as for decorating notebooks. The osmotic seal is portable and does not require a stamp stand. * Introduction of the work * National Treasure [Caricatures of Birds, Animals and Humans], Heian - Kamakura period, Lent by Kozan-ji Temple This is a picture scroll consisting of four scrolls, A, B, C, and D. Scroll A is a caricature of anthropomorphic figures. Scroll A is the most popular among the four scrolls, as it depicts anthropomorphic animals in a spontaneous and relaxed manner. The author of the scroll is said to be the Toba priest Kakuyu (1053-1140), but there is no proof, and various theories exist. Recent research has revealed that the order of the paintings has been changed since the original. It is thought that this is because they were originally divided into two volumes and then joined together. Official recognition by Kozan-ji Temple Our [Caricatures of Birds, Beasts, and Humans] series has been commercialized with the permission of Kozanji Temple (Kyoto), where the works are kept. A portion of the purchase price will be donated to Kozanji Temple, The money is used for the preservation of the temple's cultural assets and for the maintenance of the temple grounds. #Stationery Girls |
