Description
High-quality, easy-to-use all stainless steel kitchen knife series [MOKA]. Seki City in Gifu Prefecture is counted as one of the world's three major production centers of kitchen knives. The kitchen knives made in Seki are reputed to be "unbreakable, unbendable, and sharp". Each knife is carefully finished by hand at our own factory, and each knife is individually edged and finished by our craftsmen. Among them, MOKA series knives are one of the products that carry on the tradition of Seki's knife making since the time of swordsmiths to the present day. The process of bladesmithing, which determines the quality of a kitchen knife, is supported by the handiwork of craftsmen. The product has won the Good Design Award and has been consecutively selected as a "Hida*Minoh Superior Product," which is a proof of the signature products of the local Gifu Prefecture. Because it is something you use every day, we want it to be light, easy to use, and clean. MOKA is a product made with such a desire [we want you to use it for a long time] and is filled with a lot of ingenuity. The MOKA series has a sophisticated form designed by world-renowned industrial designer Motomi Kawakami. *The seamless one-piece construction prevents dirt from accumulating and is clean. *Lightweight with a hollow structure inside the handle. *Streamlined design fits naturally in the hand. *Slits on the surface make it easy to grip firmly without slipping. *The blade is made of molybdenum-vanadium steel, which is more wear-resistant than ordinary stainless steel. The blade is rust-resistant and keeps its sharpness! *Depending on the frequency of use, we recommend resharpening the blade with a whetstone once every 1 to 2 months. |
