【常滑焼】
日本六古窯の一つに数えられ、その起源は平安末期にまでさかのぼります。
常滑焼の特徴は知多半島で採れる鉄分を多く含んだ陶土を使用している点です。
その性質を活かして、鉄分を赤く発色させることを朱泥と言い、
常滑焼を特徴付ける色の焼き物ができました。
