[Sizuoka Quartz

*Place of Origin:Shizuoka Prefecture

Long ago, Shizuoka was a volcanic area with active magma.
Due to the high pressure and high temperatures, good quality quartz crystals can be found in the area.
Because of its ice crystal-like appearance, people in the past thought that it was a fossil of ice or water that crystallized and hardened.
In Japan, quartz crystals were called "Suisei" (water spirit) in the olden days. Quartz is said to be a universal power stone.
It is said that crystal has been revered as a sacred stone since ancient times and used in various rituals.
It has been loved all over the world as a "stone to drive away evil spirits" and "a stone that brings good luck" that dispels misfortune and evil and protects us from danger.
Like the diamond, it is the birthstone for April.

*Meaning: Spiritual stone, purification, protection from evil, insight, intuition.
*Material: Shizuoka crystal, stainless steel (gold gold plated), CZ
*Size: approx. 18 x 8.3 x 27mm (max. with can)

By certifying Japanese stones as "Meiseki" stones, they are now receiving new recognition.
