Description
| *Dharma tools decorated in Goshosho/ Goma colors. Pancha*varna is a Sanskrit word meaning [five colors]. Although interpretations and color combinations vary according to sects and eras, it is believed to be assigned the qualities of [vajra] or [diligence], which are unwavering beliefs. Dinsha is used in Nepalese religious music. Even though they are from different countries and have different names, they are not very different from the Indian instrument known as the manjila, since they are from the same cultural sphere. However, whereas the Indian manziela is basically simple, the dzinsha is a more attractive item, with carvings of good omen patterns that seem to have been influenced by China, the Tibetan Buddhist mantra onmanipemehum that seems to have been influenced by Tibet, dragons, and so on. This one is a massive piece with a dingsha colored and gilded pattern. パンチャ・ヴァルナとはサンスクリット語で「五つの色」を意味する語です。宗派や時代により解釈や色の組み合わせは様々ですが、揺るがない信念である「金剛」や「精進」などの性質が割り当てられているとされています。
ネパールの宗教音楽に使われているディンシャ。国が違い名前は違っても、文化圏が一緒なので、インドのマンジーラと言われる楽器と大きな違いはありません。
ただ、インドのマンジーラが基本的にシンプルなのに対し、ディンシャは中国の影響を受けたと思われる吉兆柄や、チベットの影響を受けたと思われるチベット仏教の真言オンマニペメフムや、ドラゴンなどが彫られ、より魅力的なアイテムに仕上がっています。こちらは、ディンシャに色を施し柄の部分が金色に輝く重厚な仕上がりの一品。
両手でそれぞれをぶら下げるように持ち、ゆっくりとぶつけることで、長く澄んだ音が響きます。
