Description
*Well made & reasonably priced! This statue is well carved and well made down to the smallest detail. The size is just right, neither too large nor too small. The price is reasonable, less than 1/5 of the price of a metal one of the same size. The secret is that they are made of resin. The metal statue is molded and the resin is poured into the mold. The reasonable price and moderate size make it easy to place anywhere in the room. *Hand-carved pattern by craftsmen This statue is specially hand-carved by Nepalese craftsmen, one piece at a time. It is a very time-consuming work to draw patterns on a statue with many curves, but even the smallest lines are carefully drawn one by one. The carved patterns include Buddha's eye, Stupa, Matsya, the fish representing salvation, Surya, the sun god, and Onn, among others. Auspicious patterns, etc. are carved into all corners of the statue. *Basically, the pattern is the same as the one in the photo, but since they are hand-carved, the details of each pattern and arrangement may vary from piece to piece. *Buddha statue among Buddha statues Buddha is a well-known statue in Japan. Buddha was born as a prince in a small country in ancient northern India. Immediately after his birth, he is said to have walked seven steps, pointed to the sky with his right hand and to the earth with his left hand, and said, "I am the only one above the heavens and below the earth. Later, he lived a wealthy life as a prince, but later renounced everything and became an ordained monk, attaining enlightenment under the Bodhi tree at the age of 35. Today, the place is called Bodh Gaya in Bihar, India, and is visited by Buddhists from all over the world. Buddha images have long offered compassion and salvation to those who cannot read scriptures. In Japan, Buddha images can be seen in various places. |
