素材に、い草とポリオレフィン（PO）系複合樹脂であるポリプロピレン（PP）を筒状のパイプに加工したものを使用した交織の置き畳です。調湿効果や抗菌性など、天然い草の自然の機能や風合いはそのままに、丈夫な樹脂パイプを織り交ぜることで耐久性をアップした次世代畳に仕上げました。
■筋入りパイプ
樹脂素材は、日本のノウハウを生かして作られた「筋入りパイプ」を採用しています。パイプにギザギザの筋をつけることにより、い草の表面のように凹凸があり、ビニール製品のようなテカテカ感がないマットな仕上がりです。異素材の組み合わせですが、見た目はい草の置き畳と、さほど変わらず天然に近いナチュラル感があります。■やわらかめ中材で痛くなりにくい
中材には、厚みのある硬質発砲スチロールを使用しています。しっかりとした厚みと程よい弾力で生活音を吸音してくれるため、階下への配慮や床のキズ防止などにも◎また冬場には床からの冷気を遮断してくれる効果もあります。
■滑り止め付き裏面は、床にもやさしい不織布貼りです。5か所に滑り止めがあり、透明フィルムをはがしてお使いいただけます。
