Description
| The brewery is Machida Shuzo Co. in Ryugo Town, Kagoshima Prefecture. In a land blessed with the great nature of the mountains and the sea, the company offers Amami brown sugar shochu and other products. The company sells only hand-matured sake, respecting the culture that has been nurtured throughout the company's history. Its mellow, smooth, and refreshing taste is favored by a wide range of people. Amami Brown Sugar Shochu Amami brown sugar shochu [Sato-no-Akebono] is made with black malted rice. The name comes from the wish [to bring dawn to the Amami village]. Black koji is a traditional koji used for making shochu in Ryukyu and southern Kyushu since ancient times. Generally, shochu made with black koji has an aromatic and deep flavor, but this product has a slightly lighter flavor due to reduced-pressure distillation. The flavor of brown sugar shochu can be tasted firmly, yet refreshingly. The aroma of roasted coffee mingles with the flavor of soaked [sato-no-akebono]. The rich aroma and sweetness of the brown sugar shochu [sato-no-akebono] combined with the coffee creates a fresh yet gentle depth. We hope you will enjoy the harmony of Kuro-no-Akebono, which goes well with a wide range of dishes, and coffee. A drip bag is a filter filled with coffee grounds for one cup of coffee, which can be easily made by hooking the hooks on both sides of the filter onto a cup and pouring 200cc of hot water. 奄美黒糖焼酎「里の曙」黒麹仕込を使用。名前は「奄美の里に夜明けをもたらすことができるように」という願いから。
黒麹は、古くから琉球や南九州で焼酎造りに使用されてきた伝統的な麹。一般的な黒麹仕込みの焼酎の特徴は、芳香と深みのある味だが、本品は減圧蒸留によりやや淡麗に仕上げている。黒糖焼酎の旨みをしっかりと、しかし、すっきりと味わえる。
焙煎したコーヒーの香りに、漬け込んだ「里の曙」の風味が交わっていく。
豊かな香りと甘みを持つ黒糖焼酎「里の曙」が、コーヒーと合わさることで、新鮮だけれども優しい奥行きを生む。
