Description
This basic apron, with a vintage workwear feel throughout, is highly versatile and suitable for any occasion and any person. It is a piece that we recommend sharing with your partner. [Commitment to free size]. Sisamu staff members of various builds, from 150 cm to 180 cm, have worn this apron, and we have arrived at a one-size-fits-all design that does not restrict the wearer. The fabric around the waist can be tied just right or loosely. You can enjoy wearing it according to your body shape and clothes. [Like a waist pouch for work.] Table wipe holder placed at the waist. You can use the set of table wipes as well as your own towels to wipe your hands. Pockets with corners cut off to prevent dust from accumulating. In addition, inside the front pocket, a pocket for your phone, a pen holder and a scissors holder are also provided. It looks simple at first glance, but feels as secure as if you were wearing a waist pouch for work. Not having things swimming around in your pockets is more comfortable than you can imagine. [Step Step Project] Many of the producers of sisam's partner Creative Handicrafts are women living in slums in India. At first, they learn their skills by sewing relatively simple items such as eco-friendly bags and drawstrings. As they gradually learn the skills of sewing from straight to curved stitches and from unlined to lined, they hope to create one more step between accessories and clothes. This is one of the important reasons for the development of this apron. We named this project the "Step Step Project" with the hope that the sewers will steadily climb up the technical ladder step by step. [Something that can be used with care for a long, long time]. The edges of the fabric, which are prone to fraying after daily use, are reinforced with a fabric backing and stitches of thick cotton yarn. The parts that are easily subjected to force are fastened with a kan-nuki fastener. We consider it ethical to be able to use our products for a long time. The process of making and using are both ethical. We are looking forward to seeing it grow into a vintage item of your own. [Materials that return to the soil]. Organic cotton fabric, cotton yarn, corozo nut buttons, and all parts are made of natural materials. No microplastics are emitted when washing. Aprons are frequently washed, and we have taken this into consideration. [Three colors that fit in with everyday life]. Fukui Press is responsible for dyeing in Higashi-Osaka City, where there are many old factories. This apron is a combination of Indian and Japanese craftsmanship. The aprons were carefully shaped over time from hand to hand. *White is dye-free. The fabric is made of 100% organic cotton. A choice that protects not only the comfort of our skin, but also the global environment and the livelihood of its creators. We hope that organic farming, which now accounts for about 1% of all cotton cultivation methods, will spread throughout the world. [Fair Trade][Ethical Collection] |
