You can choose from earrings or pierced earrings. The beautiful iridescence of the New Zealand Paua Shell, known as the "Jewel of the Sea," adds a glamorous and elegant touch to your ears. The simple design of the large 20mm square Paua Shells lowered to the ear fittings will make you want to wear them every day. The Paua Shells shine in multiple colors depending on the angle you look at them, making them an ideal fashion item for everyday use, going out, or any other gorgeous occasion. Since they are natural materials, no two shells have the same pattern or coloring, but they all have a wonderful pattern and shine. The back of the paua shell is reinforced with black resin. Since this natural stone accessory is made by our jewelry maker, every detail has been carefully finished. Fashion Accessories Earrings Accessory Earrings [About Paua Shells] A beautiful iridescent shell found only in the waters around New Zealand. They live along the coastline at depths of 1 to 10 meters, clinging to rocks and eating seaweed. It is said to be one of the most colorful shellfish in the world. Their mysterious shining beauty has long been used as a material for Maori art. The mysterious glow of mainly cold colors such as blue, green, and purple emerges when they are carefully polished over time. Because of its unique luster, it has been called "opal of the sea" and is highly prized. Today, the amount of opal collected is limited and carefully protected. Only polished opals and other processed opals can be taken out of New Zealand. |
