子どもの頃からの夢を忘れられず、35歳の頃に一念発起して入学した漫画学校在籍時に、感銘を受けた書籍「人体クロッキー」の著者、高桑真恵氏から描画技術を直接学ぶ。
ドローイングにより偶然現れた形に直感的な色彩をおこなったものが、ほぼそのまま作品になる。
そのため、同じものを2度と描くことができない。
