It is one of the decorative techniques of pottery that creates cracks in the glass layer of the glaze by utilizing the difference in shrinkage rate during cooling, and is one of the charms of this product. Please be assured that this is not a crack or defect. In some cases, depending on the heat level during firing, the penetration may not be noticeable. The glaze also has a hardness, and since this product uses a soft glaze, sharp metal cutlery, such as knives and forks, may scratch easily. Please wash with a soft sponge and do not use abrasives or scrubbers. The charm of the dishes is to enjoy the change in flavor as they are used. ※こちらは貫入(かんにゅう)商品です。冷却時の収縮率の差を利用して釉薬のガラス層にヒビ模様を作り出す焼き物の装飾技法の一つであり、魅力の一つとなります。割れや不良ではありませんのでご安心ください。
焼成時の火加減によって貫入が目立たない場合もあります。
また釉薬にも硬度があり、こちらの商品はやわらかい釉薬を使用しているためナイフやフォーク等など、金属の尖ったカトラリーは傷がつきやすくなっております。研磨剤やたわしは使わず柔らかいスポンジで洗ってください。
