私は10年以上前から、学級経営に長なわ8の字跳びを
とり入れてきました。
それはこの競技が学級づくりにとてもよい効果を
もたらすと考えているからです。
まずは「やればできる」という達成感を
共有できること。
最初は1分間で70回程度跳べれば上出来でしょう。
でも練習すればすぐに100回の大台を
突破できるはずです。
この100回というのは、
子どもたちにとってとても励みになるもので、
もっと跳びたいという目標が見えてきます。
チャレンジする、そしてそれを達成する、
という成功体験は子どもを成長させます。
そして、次がまさに目標をもつということです。
子どもたち自身が、日々少しずつ記録が
伸びていることを実感できるのは、
