This is a genuine Chikuzen Hakata-ori datejime with a traditional dedication pattern design. It is made of 100% silk and comes with a gold certificate from the Hakataori Industrial Association. The silk fabric is soft and supple, easy to fasten and will not loosen. The white version can be used for a wide range of occasions from formal wear such as tomesode and weddings to casual kimonos and yukatas, while the black version can be used for mourning.
