A traditional Ottoman design with a pattern of blossoming carnations. This is a reproduction of the silk velvet used for the sultan's (emperor's) costume as an interior fabric.
Smooth, shiny, and gently textured chenille fabric is used on both sides in a luxurious way. The fabric is a blend of viscose (artificial silk) and polyester, a higher grade of luxury fabric.
This traditional design is arranged and tailored into a lovely bedspread.
