〜コーマ糸とは？〜
綿糸を作る際、 綿繊維を撚り合わせた糸の表面にある不要な繊維を取り除く工程カーディングを行い、約5%の不要部分を取り除いて出来た糸をカード糸といいます。
繊維の均一性を高めるためカード糸の表面に残る不要な繊維をさらに約15~20%ほどそぎ落とすコーミング工程を施した糸がコーマ糸となります。
コーマ糸で作られたカットソーはカード糸に比べ艶のある柔らかな風合いの高級感が出ます。
コーマ糸は飛び出す繊維が少なくなるので洗濯をしても表面に毛羽が出にくく美しさも長持ちします。
