Description
The epic [Jurassic*World] trilogy, the first compilation making book, is finally complete! In 2015, [Jurassic*World], directed by Steven*Spielberg's successor, Colin*Trevorrow, was released. The film, set on Isla Nublar, was a record-breaking hit and formed an epic trilogy with the subsequent Jurassic World: Kingdom of Fire, directed by J*A*Bayona, and Jurassic World: The New Reign, again directed by Trevorrow. This historical book takes us behind the scenes of the "World" trilogy, revealing in great detail the entire film-making process, from the start of the project and the hiring of a new director, to the writing of the script, filming, dinosaur production, visual effects, editing, music, and post-production. The film is filled with a wealth of photos* and illustrations, many of which are being shown for the first time. Especially worth seeing are the first publicly available photos and design drawings of the main dinosaurs, VFX, and explanations of how they were filmed and moved. The book also includes interviews with Trevorrow, director J*A*Bayona, Spielberg's close friend Frank Marshall, who served as executive producer from the first film [Jurassic Park], Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas*Howard, and the rest of the cast, including legends! The book is filled with behind-the-scenes stories about the difficulties faced on set, trivia about the films, and other information that can only be found in this book. This is the definitive guide to "Jurassic*culture," covering not only the film trilogy, but also spin-offs such as the animated TV series [Jurassic*World/Camp*Survival] and the theme parks. |
