Description
This product is limited to Kyoto City. It is not sold at Tokyu Hands*Loft*Department stores. This product was sold as a souvenir 18 years ago. The package has been well received by everyone as a color feng shui. There are 5 colors (red*blue*green*yellow*peach). [It is made of the same original paper as "Aburatorigami of Toji Temple in Kyoto". You can use it as a gift or when you forget to buy a souvenir in Kyoto. It is also recommended for customers who are interested in Feng Shui. The content is exactly the same as the original paper used for [Aburatorigami of Toji temple in Kyoto] and [Washi Aburatorigami], so please feel free to buy it. It is a purely domestic product. The products of a famous store in Kyoto are also made of Japanese paper using hemp. [Aburatorigami from Toji Temple]. As you know, this is an oil blotting paper made of Japanese paper with the symbol of the five-story pagoda of To-ji Temple, the head temple of the Shingon sect of Buddhism, which is located at the entrance to the Heian-kyo capital. The raw material is hemp, a plant fiber. Furthermore, the fibers are crushed by applying pressure to the Washi paper, resulting in an excellent product that absorbs only sebum. It is an original oil blotting paper that does not absorb water by capillary action, which is often seen in pulp paper. [Toji Temple] There were two temples at the entrance to Heian-kyo (present-day Kyoto), To-ji Temple and Sai-ji Temple, but only To-ji Temple remains today. It is widely known as the temple where Kobo Daishi (Kukai) lived. The five-story wooden pagoda, one of the largest in Japan, is the first structure you see when you arrive at Kyoto Station on the Shinkansen bullet train. |

<東寺>
