この能登ヒバいろいろ子ども箸の素材には輪島塗の素地や建材にも使われる、 石川県の県木「能登ヒバ」を使用しています。
能登ヒバってなに？
石川県の県木「能登ヒバ」は耐久・抗菌・防虫・防臭性に優れた ヒノキチオールを多く含む日本有数の木材。
輪島塗りの素地や建材としても使われ、外国ではカヌーやオールなどにも 使われるなど軽くて丈夫な木材です。
能登ヒバ特有の香りはアロマにも使用されています。
そしてこのお箸、お箸の為に伐採しているのではなく、金沢城の改修の際に使用された能登ヒバの 端材を利用しているので環境にもやさしいお箸です。
そんな能登ヒバを使用しているからこそ無塗装でも使用できるお箸なんです。
その能登ヒバのお箸を漆器の3大産地、石川県山中地方で塗り上げられた「山中漆器」でやわらかくあたたかみのあるカラーを付けました。
箸先の部分には滑り止め効果もあるウレタン塗装をしているのでお手入れも簡単です♪
箸先以外は能登ヒバの香り・優しい手触りを感じられるように無塗装になっています。
乾漆調の塗りにすることでざらっとした質感で表情が面白く、また、ざらつきがあることで持ちやすく、すべりにくい仕上がりになっています。
お子様やご年配の方にもおすすめです。
