| Stylish tenugui hand towel made by the Japanese traditional technique [shizome (tie-dyeing)]. These tenugui hand towels are painstakingly dyed one by one by hand using the Sogizome technique, which has been handed down since the Meiji era (1868-1912). You can enjoy the subtle texture of hand-dyeing, such as the unique coloring and blurring that only Sogi-dyeing can produce. The gradation of cherry blossoms at night illuminated by moonlight is different from that in the daytime. Tenugui has many advantages not found in towels, such as being "less bulky," "quick-drying," and "unique patterns. Why don't you use them in a stylish way like the people of the Edo period? |
