| Original from Setomono Ichiba♪ The size is an easy-to-use No. 1.7 size, reproduced with reference to Ukiyoe by Utamaro Kitagawa (late Edo period). The bonsai pot is small enough to fit in your hand and can be cared for on your desk at home. The clay is glazed on top of the clay to form the pattern on the pot, so it appears to float three-dimensionally. People tend to prefer a uniform shape, but we think that having different shapes is more pleasing to the eye. |
