Description
| The first book in the series, "I am a Giraffe in Africa," was published in 2001 and tells the story of a lazy giraffe who makes new friends "over the horizon" through the letters he writes. The story then moves to the Whale Sea [beyond the horizon], and this is the sixth volume in this unique series about a circle of friends that expands as a result of various letters. Kamejiro returns from his trip and decides to open [Kamejiro Shop] because he is good at making everything from shell flutes to signboards using the shells and stones he collected. He asked the post office that was established in the Whale Sea in his previous work to distribute flyers, but even after several days, not a single customer came. When I checked, I found that the fake [Kamejiro Shoten] was busy! What's going on? The opening event of the post office also coincided with the opening of the Whale Sea, making it a very busy place. Who is this fake Kamejiro? The newcomers, Kamejiro's father and sister, Kameyo, are also very unique. What is conveyed in the letters is surely more than what is written. |
