| This is a traditional Japanese curtain dyed in wax. [What is "Rouke Dyeing"? It is a rare and valuable traditional dyeing method in which patterns are dyed by preventing dyeing with wax. The pattern is drawn with melted wax. When the cloth is dyed with dyestuff, the wax is bounced off and the cloth is dyed white.
