Description
Contents What are the "social lies" that undermine Japan? Many events that are considered taboo to criticize under the guise of moral goodness.... I feel uncomfortable with the movement to spread [certain values] through peer pressure.... That we have come to be unaware of what we have lost because we did not know. To regain the freedom of spirit that has been eroded because of our indifference. A proposal to live soundly tomorrow by thinking and acting with our own minds. In this book. [Why do so many people work so hard and yet have no vision for themselves?] [Why do we feel a sense of stagnation in modern Japan?] [How can we overcome this sense of stagnation and live?] The author has compiled his own answers to these difficult questions. The author explains what is happening in the world political space today, based on the actual relationship between elections, policies, business, and the people, which he has experienced both in Japan and abroad. The book then makes a two-part proposal on what changes are beginning to occur in the world and how we should respond to them. It is easy and tempting to run away from freedom. Through the normalization of running away from freedom, human beings close themselves off from their own possibilities and the meaning of life. And eventually, they forget that freedom even exists. People feel a slight sense of discomfort living in an authoritarian society, but they are unable to recognize even the true nature of that discomfort. In today's society, when you are born, someone else has already prepared a plan for your life. And as you go through the process of designing your life, you will repeatedly succeed and fail, and reach the moment when your life comes to an end. Various policies have been prepared so that you do not have any doubts about your life, and you will spend your life in a somewhat predetermined way. If you open the Internet, you will be bombarded with information on how to spend your life wisely within the existing framework of this society. In addition, liberal and uniform values are being imposed on you, including by the media. The correct life schedule and values have been pre-formatted by others, and you are no longer able to even think about [what freedom means]. If you are willing to break out of the cage of authoritarianism and live of your own volition, freedom will appear as a companion to your life, with an unassuming face. Freedom can be demanding, comforting, anxiety-provoking, or happy. Freedom is the presence that brings fulfillment to your life. It will be my greatest pleasure if the contents of this book help you to feel the presence of such freedom. Even if people have forgotten freedom, it does not mean that freedom itself has been lost. Freedom is always with you, waiting for us to remind you of its existence. [Why do so many people work so hard and yet have no vision for themselves?]
[Why do we feel a sense of stagnation in modern Japan?]
[How can we overcome this sense of stagnation and live?]
The author has compiled his own answers to these difficult questions.
