Description
Yayoi Saito(Author) From the interdisciplinary perspectives of social welfare studies, sociology, political science, economics, and nursing care studies, this report analyzes the transition and current status of the supply and organization of care for the elderly in Sweden. In Sweden, which is regarded as a universal welfare state, nursing care services are being restructured in response to the trend toward globalization and marketization. Through a comparative analysis of the transition of Japan's home help system and its nursing care system, this paper provides a new perspective on the current situation in Japan, which has not been able to break free from the monopoly of the nursing care supply by local governments. |
