This is a heartwarming book with a unique and warm touch that will soothe your heart.

A hunter, Yosige, picked up a bear cub that had been separated from its parents and raised it with his wife, Kimi.

I have been in love with Rokuta since I met him.
Especially the Rokuta on the cover is so cute.
I was overwhelmed by the passion of the author, Ms. Ota, who continues to produce creative folk tales even today.
She is a devoted admirer of Kenji Miyazawa, Nankichi Niimi, Naoko Awa, and Miyoko Matsutani, and is continuing her studies as a writer.

About the Author
Koshitaro Ota
Lives in Wakayama City. Writer.
Studied history of Wakayama Prefecture under Mr. Keishu Kibi, a local historian* and haiku poet.
He was commissioned by historical writer Jiro Kamisaka to write a book on local history [Wakayama Ima Mukashi] (published by Wakayama Prefecture Mutual Insurance Agricultural Cooperative Union).
Distributed 3,000 free copies of his book "Folktales from Kishu" to revitalize the central shopping street "Burakuri-cho" in Wakayama City.
The edited book [Folktales from Kishu] will be used for classes at Wakayama Prefectural Koza High School.
Proceeds from the sale of the folktale collection are donated to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami, and to relief efforts.
