「小田桐昭さん」は今年83歳。テレビCMは「時代を映す鏡」と言われ、最大最強の広告メディアだった。「小田桐昭さん」は、そのCM業界において知らない人がいないほどの“伝説の人間"です。電通に入社し、CM部門に配属され、手探りの中CM制作に没入し、数々の<国内&国際賞>を受賞。「小田桐山脈」といわれる多数の優秀なクリエイターを育て、現在、活躍しているクリエイターたちに多大な影響を与え続けている。約60年に渡って「TVCM」と一緒に生きてきた男である。

小田桐昭(おだぎり・あきら)
北海道生まれ。1961年に金沢美術工芸大学商業デザイン科を卒業し、同年に電通入社。 松下電器、資生堂などのクリエイティブディレクター、トヨタ自動車やサントリーなどのクリエイティブスーパーバイザーを務め、クリエイターとして高く評価される。2010年には、オグルヴィ・アンド・メイザー・ジャパン名誉会長。また、イラストレーターとしても活躍し、数々の作画を手掛けている。
