Description
This is a new type of kanji drill for kanji learned by junior high school students (1110 common kanji other than the 1026 learned in elementary school), supervised by Keisuke Fukaya of "Dictionary Pulling Study" and illustrated by Chiharu Sakazaki of "Suica's Penguin". The kanji learned by junior high school students are equivalent to the 4th to 2nd grades of the Kanji Proficiency Test (Kanji Kentei), and since the kanji learned in each grade differ depending on the textbook, this series consists of four volumes: 4th, 3rd, Pre-2nd, and 2nd grades, according to the grades. At school, Japanese is taught in Japanese, science in science, English in English, and so on, but in all subjects, understanding the Japanese language leads to learning each subject, such as reading Japanese texts and translating foreign words into Japanese. In particular, kanji require comprehensive study of their various meanings and usages, so this drill includes kanji writing exercises, reading and writing sample sentences, and questions related to the kanji in nine subjects. By solving these problems, students can improve their academic ability not only in the Japanese language but also in all subjects (the answers are uploaded on Kaiseisha's website and students can check their answers). In the volume for Level 2, 328 characters equivalent to Level 2 of the [Kanji Proficiency Test] are studied. |
